TX-Grids Publisher's Description
TX-Grids converts latitude and longitude coordinates to and from "Maidenhead Grid Locators". This coordinate system (named after a town near London) are four or six letters and digits and indicate a grid "square" of either 1 x 2 degrees or 2.5 x 5 minutes of arc.
Examples are: "FN31" where the ARRL is located or "EN34is" which is the authors home-town. For a good explanation of the system, go to: www.arrl.org/locate/gridinfo.html Registration: When you register TX-Grids, the program also computes the Great-Circle distance between any two locations.
